My tenure in the field of Stationary Engineering started some 29 years ago, and today I can attest that it was the best decision I’ve made professionally along with registering to be formerly educated at the Stationary Engineers Apprenticeship School, subsequently acquiring my SMT* and SMA* designations. This field of engineering work is constantly changing, as is all things globally, and so keeping up-to-date with the many and various systems and components is a challenge to meet the high demand of understanding and operating high-rise buildings. There
are many directions one can choose to grow professionally, I am both fortunate and glad that I took this path without regret and it has been beneficial and a learning experience tremendously.
